Trees, NOT by Joyce Kilmer
I think that I shall never see,
A poem as boring as a tree.
A tree is not exciting, bub.
It's just a tall and leafy shrub.
It will not pray, that stuff is lies;
It'll just photosynthesize.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But God made fools better than trees.
I think trees are rather interesting, actually.
ReplyDeleteHowever, they're quite annoying in the spring when I can't breathe because of allergies.
